Bastia have announced that they
have completed the signing of
Bordeaux striker Anthony
Modeste on a season loan.
The 24-year-old is on the move
once more, having spent the past
six months with freshly-relegated
Premier League side Blackburn
Rovers, where he failed to score
in nine appearances for blackburn.
Modeste joins Bastia on the same
day as former Juventus
goalkeeper Landry Bonnefoi,
who has penned a one-year deal
with the Corsican side after three
seasons at former club Amiens.
Bastia secured promotion to
Ligue 1 after finishing at the top
of the second-tier standings,
accumulating 71 points from 38
matches played.
