Alex Song's move from Arsenal to Barcelona has been in the news for a
quite long time, but the transfer has been made official.
Arsenal's website officially announced Alexander Song's departure this
afternoon: According to Arsenal website,
The transfer of Alex
Song to Barcelona has
been completed at a fee not made known to public. The African joined Arsenal in
2005 from French team SC Bastia, initially on loan and later made
permanent a year later. He went
on and make 204 appearances for Arsenal during his stay at emirate.
The undisclosed fee is
believed to be around €19M, Song was an excellent box-to-box midfielder for
the Arsenal he uses his strong, physical presence to make an impact on
the defence. The cameroonian departure is another big set back for
Arsenal as he is one of the most esprienced player in the squad. Join
