LALIGA CLUBS STRIKE ACTION AVERTED

All seems ready for the commencement of the spaninsh laliga as laliga
teams have averted her planned strike action. About thirteen La Liga
teams
had claimed they will be boycotting the opening matches of the season
to protest against inequalities form used in distribution of
television revenues income. The president of the Spain's Liga LFP
Jose Luis Astiazaran also confirmed
that the new campaign will start
on Saturday as alreardy planned by the body. "The games planned for
this weekend will hold as schedule," stated
Astiazaran during press briefing today.
The strike action was called off after a meeting was held today
between rebelling clubs, the LFP representatives and others stake
holders such as the Spain's Secretary of State for Sport, Miguel
Cardinal. Last season Champion Real Madrid are to begin their new term
by playing
Valencia on Sunday, while Barcelona will be facing Real Sociedad the
same evening.
