STIMAC CONFIRMED LUKA MODRIC WILL JOIN MADRID THIS SUMMER

The Croatia coach Igor
Stimac is optimistic that Tottenham
midfielder Luka Modric will complete
his move to Real Madrid before the
end of the summer transfer. Stimac
stated that the situation the 26-year-old player is in isn't ideal,
and that his lack of pre-season gametime will have left him lacking
sharpness when the season finally starts.
However he is confident that Modric will sign for Los Blancos before
the transfer window closes on August ending. "I don't like the
situation that he
has find himself, he hasn't played any
match at all this summer," the croatia boss stated. "He will end up signing for
Madrid before the market closes,that am confident of," The Spurs
striker has scored 13 goals in 127 appearances for the north London
side but since after missing out on a move to Chelsea last summer,he
looks set to be granted his wish to depart before the end of the
season. The
Former West Ham defender Stimac who was speaking ahead of Croatia's
game against Switzerland in Zagreb, his first match since replacing
Slaven
Bilic at the helm of affair of the club.
